Mohamed Mohsen Gammoudi

Mohamed Mohsen Gammoudi is a full professor in the Department of Computer Science at ISAMM, University of Manouba, where he leads the ECRI research team in the RIADI laboratory. He earned his HDR (Habilitation to Direct Research) in 2005 from the Faculty of Sciences of Tunis (FST) which is entitled: “Conceptual decomposition of binary relations and its applications”.
He completed his PhD entitled: “Rectangular Decomposition of a Binary Relation for Thesaurus Generation: Application to Documentary Databases” in 1993 at the Sophia Antipolis laboratory (I3S/CNRS) in France, conducting research within Professor Serge Miranda's team from 1990 to 1993.
Professor Gammoudi has taught at various institutions, including the IUT of Nice in 1992 and the Federal University of Maranhão, Brazil, from 1993 to 1997. He has supervised numerous PhD students, aiding their academic development. He has published over 90 works in areas such as formal concept analysis, Information Retrieval, Data mining, Machine learning, generative Artificial Intelligence, and Cloud Computing. His recent research focuses on developing an Arabic-language chatbot for medical applications to improve communication in healthcare.
Since 2018, Professor Gammoudi has been on the panel of evaluators for quality support projects and actively participates in various academic commissions related to teaching quality, research, and recruitment.
